Welcome to Helensburgh RSCDS

We are a Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, mainly based in the town of Helensburgh in Argyll and Bute, Scotland.

Helensburgh is a pretty little town about 25 miles west of Glasgow on the north bank of the Clyde and is surrounded by stunning scenery including Loch Lomond which is only around 10 minutes drive away.

We run classes which cater for all levels and ages of dancers, and throughout the year we run a number of dances including the Branch Weekend in April.

Taster Sessions

Calling all would-be dancers!

If you've ever fancied learning Scottish Country Dancing now is your chance! We're running relaxed & friendly free Taster Sessions in September for new and returning dancers to give it a go, and learn the basics. No experience needed & you don't need a partner either - just come along to Helensburgh Parish Church Hall on 16th or 23rd Sept and have some fun. More details here.

Charity Cheque Presentation

We were delighted that Elaine Holmes and her wonderful dog Pippa could come along to the Day of Dance to be presented with a cheque for £1,159.95 raised at the Charity Dance in February in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind. Well done everyone for supporting this charity so wholeheartedly!
